The Ram 1500 REV electric pickup truck was officially presented in the US

The Ram 1500 REV made its public debut at the New York Auto Show. The electric pickup was previously presented online, and now its characteristics have been revealed. This is reported by the official website of the Stellantis concern.

The new Ram 1500 REV will go into production from the end of 2024. Its main competitors will be the Tesla Cybertruck, Ford F-150 Lightning and Chevrolet Silverado EV.

The Ram 1500 REV electric pickup truck will have two engines with a total output of 654 hp and 840 Nm. It will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and tow a 6.3-ton trailer. The payload of the car is 1223 kg.

There will be two batteries to choose from – 168 and 229 kWh. The range will be 563 and 805 km, respectively. The Ram 1500 REV electric car supports fast charging with a capacity of up to 350 kW – in this case, the car can be charged by 30% in 10 minutes.

The equipment includes 275/50 R22 tires and air suspension with adjustable ground clearance. The Ram 1500 REV pickup truck can overcome fords up to 61 cm deep.

The new Ram 1500 REV will be offered only in four-door version. It is currently the most streamlined pickup truck in the world with a drag coefficient of 0.34. The car has a 425-liter trunk with an electric lid.

The interior of the pickup truck has a virtual dashboard and a 14.5-inch touchscreen, and a separate screen for the front passenger and a projection on the windshield will be offered for an additional fee. The Ram 1500 REV electric pickup truck will be offered in five trim levels, and the options will include Klipsch speakers with 23 speakers and a semi-autonomous driving system.
