The representative of the new generation RAM 2500/3500 received a V-shaped 6-cylinder power engine with a working volume of 5.7 liters and a capacity of 383 horsepower. The 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel is combined with a 6-range automatic transmission.
The engine lineup also includes a 6.4-liter HEMI with 410 “horses” under the hood.
The 5-range gearbox was replaced by a 6-speed TorqueFlite 8 automatic gearbox, thanks to which it was possible to significantly reduce fuel consumption.
The updated 2014 RAM 2500 is equipped with 6 airbags, parking sensors with a camera, seat belts with pre-tensioners. The basic model is equipped with air suspension. 5 modes are available for the driver: normal, parking, Off-Road 1 and 2, as well as Aero.
The ABS system, trailer control, downhill driving assistant, and parking assistant improve the car’s handling.
