The RAM 1500 pickup is not only a powerful car, but also aesthetically attractive, reliable and safe. In comparison with previous generations, RAM 1500 pleases with a large number of changes in almost everything: from the power unit to the interior. In general, this car can be freely used everywhere and for any purpose: for off-road driving, transporting a large amount of cargo, as a family car, and so on.

First of all, I would like to note the appearance – it has become less brutal and meets the modern requirements of the majority of motorists: smoother shapes, new optics. The front lights have become narrower, and the rear ones are represented by strict vertical lights. In the lower part of the front bumper there are rectangular fog lights. In general, the car acquired more aerodynamic outlines.

There are changes in the cabin as well. So, if the minimum equipment is presented with fabric trim, then all the others are with high-quality leather. Moreover, not only the seats are covered with leather, but also the door cards, the instrument panel, and the torpedo. There are several different interior colors. This part of the car pleases with a good information display, large armrests and excellent multimedia. The developers took care of a high level of noise isolation, which also cannot fail to please.

Engines

4 types of engines are installed on the RAM 1500:
1. Gasoline atmospheric 3.6 liters (305 horsepower).
2. Gasoline atmospheric 5.7 liters (395 horsepower).
3. Gasoline turbocharged 6.2 liters (702 horsepower).
4. Diesel 3.6 liters (260 horsepower).

The gearbox is represented by an 8-band automatic. At the same time, there is no usual shift lever in the cabin – there is only a washer, with the help of which you can select the operating mode of the box. RAM 1500 cars are available both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. At the same time, the four-wheel drive can be turned on manually or set to automatically turn on when skidding and in other relevant situations.
