The fuel system was with electronic injection. And all engines were on diesel fuel. A five-speed manual gearbox served as a pair for absolutely all engine configurations. But the drive could be either rear or full (optional).

Depending on the configuration, the car could be equipped with various comfort and safety systems. Absolutely all had air conditioning. But the front separate climate control was available only in three. In some trim levels, cruise control was available. This was a definite plus for a car of that time.
The steering wheel could also be adjusted, both in reach and in height. An on-board computer could also be available (but only for a limited number of trim levels).
The radio was available everywhere, but the CD player was only built in to a limited extent. For some modifications, electric seat adjustment was available. Top versions could be upholstered in genuine leather.
The downside could be that in some trim levels it was not possible to recline the rear row of seats. This was a problem for those who need to carry bulky items. Absolutely all configurations were equipped with a cargo mount.
